RODEO, a success in robotic orbital drilling for aeronautics

Focus on the European project RODEO – Robotized Orbital Drilling Equipment and Optimized residual stresses or robotic orbital drilling equipment and optimized residual stresses.

Labeled by the EMC2 Pole on 14 May 2016 and funded the same year by the European H2020 CleanSky2 program, it is led by 5 partners : PRECISE France from PRACARTIS Groupe, the LS2N laboratory, MITISInstitut Clément Ader (ICA) CNRS UMR 5312 et KUKA SYSTEMS AEROSPACE.
